First, Ohio Republicans in Congress passed their Big Ugly Bill, gutting Medicaid for hundreds of thousands of people and putting the wealthy few ahead of Ohio families struggling to afford basic needs.

Then, they elected to shut the government down instead of protecting our healthcare — putting 490,000 Ohioans at risk of losing their coverage completely, and sabotaging our economy. Every single Senate Republican — including Ohio GOP Senator Jon Husted — voted against lowering health care costs.

Now, it’s up to us to hold them accountable at the ballot box for walking away from their jobs and putting Ohio families at risk.
