John, Reform UK has just received a £1 million donation from Nick Candy - a former Conservative donor and Reform’s honorary treasurer. | | He has also pledged to help Reform raise over £10 million by next May’s crucial council, mayoral, Holyrood and Senedd elections - and over £40 million by the next General Election.
That level of funding, at this moment, will make a huge difference to Nigel Farage’s campaign. | | Reform knows that one of the biggest things that will help them grow support is momentum, and voters seeing them win - so they will use every election between now and the next General Election to build credibility.
And we all know where it will lead if they get into power.
We are the only party defeating Reform in by-elections right now, but this new funding will mean they can afford to campaign harder, delivering more adverts and leaflets in areas where we can stop them, from today. | | John, we need to show voters that are turning away from Labour and the Conservatives that we are the decent, positive alternative to Reform’s divisive and hateful politics.
Right now, our excellent campaign team is developing a host of literature to help us counteract the increased activity we are now going to see from Reform as a result of this extra funding.
Will you help us balance the campaign and donate to fund this new literature? | | Every pound donated today is important - because if we wait, Reform will already have won half the battle.
Please donate today - we can’t let Farage and Reform get this much of a head start. There’s too much at stake. | | Thank you for your support.
Best wishes, | | | Mike Dixon CEO of the Liberal Democrats
