After Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Donald Trump conspired to rig that state’s congressional map in a rare mid-decade gerrymander — a move that would silence millions of voters — California launched a direct response to fight back.

The Election Rigging Response Act gives the people of California the power to push back against Texas and any other state that bends to Trump’s will to rig the midterm elections.

Between now and November 4th, California voters will decide whether or not to pass this legislation that would update our congressional maps on a temporary basis in response to Texas Republicans’ power grab. But we need your help to ensure we have the resources we need to win and keep up the fight for fair representation. We cannot fall short in defeating this power grab and saving our democracy.
