"When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evil doers."

- Proverbs 21:15

Africa
- Pray for all of the preparations and for the great success of IJM
Ghana's upcoming National Justice Conference and Freedom Sunday. Between those two events we will unite a vast number of Christian leaders in Ghana. So far, the Church there has been willing to listen and agree that slavery needs to end - please pray with us that
all of this good will and the strong relationships we are building will translate into action on behalf of children enslaved on Lake Volta.
Latin America
- Praise God that over 2,500 rookie police officers were trained to respond to sexual violence crimes in Guatemala. These officers graduated from the National Police
Academy where, as part of the institutionalized curriculum created by IJM and the National Police, agents are now required to complete a basic course to address sexual violence to better serve victims and survivors across the country.
Please pray for these 2,500 new officers as they will soon be deployed to their new positions. Pray that wherever they are they will serve and protect the most vulnerable and put their training into practice.
South Asia
- Ask for God's guidance for our investigations teams as they work with police to find girls and young women being
exploited for sex. Most of our cases now focus on private trafficking networks rather than traditional brothels. These networks can be much more difficult to trace and intercept.
Pray for wisdom, discernment, safety and speed for our team, and that we would have breakthrough rescue operations this year to free dozens more girls.

Southeast Asia
- Pray for survivors of labor trafficking in Cambodia as they seek stable job opportunities. Many Cambodians living in poverty migrate outside of the
country and across the region to find decent work, but trafficking criminals often prey on these vulnerable workers and exploit
them. Once survivors of trafficking are able to return home, they find themselves faced with the same lack of opportunity that caused them to be vulnerable to trafficking in the first place.
Pray that churches and organizations across the country can connect returned survivors with employment opportunities so they can earn a living and stay safe from revictimization.
IJM HQ & Global Partners
IJM headquarters is located in the United States. IJM has
international advancement offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the
Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

- Please ask God to bring the right people to join IJM's team, in
all of our offices around the world. Pray for wisdom as our recruiting team reviews applications and interviews candidates, seeking to bring the women and men on board who will help make justice for the poor unstoppable.
