I’ll get straight to the point: we’re short of our critical October Mid-Month goal – and with only 20 days until the first two statewide races of Donald Trump's second term – every second counts. CHIP IN NOW TO OUR MID-MONTH GOAL
After Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard in Oregon and Illinois – just like he did in California and has threatened to do in other states – one thing is certain: we are seeing a blatant abuse of power and an attack on state sovereignty. It’s never been more crucial to elect Democratic governors, our last line of defense against the Trump administration.

While Republicans forced a government shutdown, threatening to kick millions of Americans off their health insurance, Democratic governors stepped up for hardworking Americans. Just take a look:

Gov. Gavin Newsom and Gov. Tina Kotek sued the Trump administration over their National Guard deployments– and won. And now, Gov. JB Pritzker is taking Trump back to court over the same thing.
Dem govs like Gov. Maura Healey and Gov. Wes Moore are protecting public health and helping ensure vaccine access for millions of Americans.
Under Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s leadership, New Mexico launched the first statewide, no-cost universal child care program! It will start next month.
Gov. Andy Beshear and Gov. Josh Shapiro secured all of the funding that the Trump administration tried to halt when dismantling the public service agency Americorps.
As Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, take it from me: Dem govs are fighting for hardworking Americans every single day. And meeting our Mid-Month goal and electing more of these leaders in the states has never been more important.
