Friend it's time to take action --
In support of the Riverside
High School Affordable Housing Club, the PA encourages you to
communicate with the City Council on or before October 20th in support
of the new Housing Ordinance.
Here are the ways you can do that:
1) Attend the meeting to show your support for the new housing ordinance.
Meeting is on October 20th at 7:00pm. Be prepared for a long meeting.
2) If you attend, consider making a comment of support for the
ordinance. Please mention that you are a member of People's Alliance.
To speak on
Public Hearings or the General Business Agenda, sign up to
speak in person by using the designated speaker station located
outside of City Council Chambers. Speaker requests must be submitted
prior to the start of the meeting.
3) Attend and comment via zoom: Go
to the meeting agenda and register using the Zoom link located at
the top of the agenda by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting. The agenda
will be ready and posted by Friday, October 17. During the meeting,
you will be acknowledged when it's your turn to speak.
4) Submit written public comment THIS WEEK. It
will be read at the meeting. HERE
