Today, Charlie Kirk would have celebrated his 32nd birthday.
This young patriot shared his faith boldly at every opportunity and held an unshakable conviction in delivering conservative truth to young people on college campuses across America. His courage, laser-focused purpose, and infectious joy for the free exchange of ideas made him a standout warrior in today's woke political battlefield.
Charlie was fiercely devoted to his wife and family, and he frequently speaking to young men on the vital role of being a strong husband and father—core principles that are under attack and not championed nearly enough in our crumbling culture.
Charlie poured his energy into battles far greater than himself. He believed that every voice matters and ever vote counts. His passion was registering young voters and in turn encouraged those new voters to go out and register voters of ALL ages! He led the dignified fight against the radical left and gave every one of us practical ways to join his mission to reclaim our country and restore freedom!
Though Hawaii is a deep blue state dominated by the woke left, I believe that with the right effort, grassroots organizing, and active membership involvement, we can continue to build our numbers in the legislature, make real progress and take a seat our rightful at the table in both local and national politics.
Today, on this National Day of Remembrance, we're not just honoring his name - we are remembering how Charlie lived and how he loved and calling on every one of us to step up and get involved today.
