John,Last month, the voters of Arizona’s 7th Congressional District elected Adelita Grijalva to represent them in Congress.
The votes have been counted and canvassed, and today, I stood alongside Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and Attorney General Kris Mayes to officially certify the election.
But for weeks, GOP Speaker Mike Johnson has refused to follow our lead and swear her in so that she can get to work.
, this means that over 800,000 Arizonans currently do not have the representation in Congress that they are entitled to. This is unacceptable. Some of her constituents have even faced flooding from recent storms in Arizona, yet they have no one in the House of Representatives to advocate for them.
Enough. It’s long past time for Washington politicians to stop playing political games and swear in Adelita Grijalva. If you agree, add your name to demand action → [[link removed]]

The last thing Arizonans need right now is more chaos in Washington. Thanks for adding your voice and showing you agree.
