In a minute, we’re going to ask you to contribute to the DNC ahead of tomorrow’s mid-month fundraising deadline. But first, let’s be clear about what’s going on right now:

Trump wants people to be afraid of opposing him. He threatened to end voting by mail. He ordered the National Guard into Chicago and Portland. He’s even calling for his political opponents to be arrested.

Trump wants to intimidate us into silence. He and his allies are counting on Democrats throwing in the towel and completely giving up.

We can’t let that happen.

That’s why this month is so important. We’re nearly halfway through the month now, but at the end of October, we’ll face our final fundraising deadline before voters head to the polls in states like Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California.

After October ends, we’ll be required to report how much we’ve raised, and those numbers will tell a story: A lot of contributions will show the strength of Democrats’ opposition to Trump and his agenda heading into November's elections. They’ll show we aren’t done fighting.
