North Carolina’s General Assembly is supposed to work for the people of our state — not Donald Trump.
Yet instead of doing their job and passing a budget to fully fund Medicaid, invest in public safety, and pay our teachers what they deserve, they’re meeting to gerrymander our congressional maps (again) at Donald Trump’s behest.
These shameless politicians are failing our state and further undermining the rights of NC voters. They are abusing their power to take away the voters’.
Voters should choose their representatives, John. Not the other way around.
I will never stop fighting to make sure all North Carolina voters can have their say in our elections, but to do so, we have to oust these hard right extremists who care more about their own power than our people.
