Friend, across the world, even as wars, disasters, and epidemics are pushing health systems past the breaking point, there simply aren’t enough health workers. By 2030, the shortage is projected to reach 11 million.
This year alone, Project HOPE staff have delivered care in hospitals targeted by drones in Ukraine, clinics in Gaza overwhelmed by nonstop crisis, and communities reeling from disasters like the catastrophic LA wildfires.
This Project HOPE Giving Week, we’re calling on our community to stand with these heroes by donating to help deliver the support they need to save lives. When 250 supporters give by midnight this Friday, October 17, it will unlock a $25,000 in Matching Gift Challenge thanks to a generous group of Project HOPE donors — multiplying the impact of every gift and helping health workers close the care gap for families in peril the countries we work.
Will you be one of 250 supporters to make a donation that helps unlock this $25,000 Match Challenge opportunity? Your generosity during Project HOPE’s Giving Week can help provide health workers with training, protective gear, medicines, and even mental health support, so they can save lives in crisis zones around the world, wherever the need is greatest.

Right now, Project HOPE is training and equipping health workers in places like Ukraine, where health workers are treating trauma patients every single day under extraordinary strain. Olha, a medical intern who participated in one of our trauma response trainings, told us:

During this Project HOPE Giving Week, your gift — and the $25,000 in Match Challenge funds it can help unlock — can empower health workers like Olha, and thousands more facing the hardest year of their lives, to keep delivering care in war zones, disaster areas, and fragile health systems.
You can double your lifesaving impact for these heroes and the communities they serve.
Thank you.
