Lindsey has been named one of the Pennsylvania Library Association’s 2025 Elected Officials of the Year!
Friend,
We’re excited to share some incredible news: Lindsey has been named one of the Pennsylvania Library Association’s 2025 Elected Officials of the Year!
This award recognizes Lindsey’s ongoing commitment to strengthening our public libraries and ensuring more children have access to books that reflect their lives and experiences. Sign on to congratulate Lindsey!
Here’s an example of her work: In 2024, the Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) asked legislators to support their project, “Providing Books to Children in Difficult and Challenging Situations,” to install book vending machines in places where kids are often most vulnerable. Lindsey stepped up immediately, teaming up with other legislators to fully fund the $140,000 project.
Libraries are community anchors, safe spaces, and gateways to opportunity — and they are stronger because Lindsey is fighting for them in Harrisburg.
