Do you support the executive order to temporarily restrict certain immigration?
President Trump recently signed an executive order extending the temporary pause on immigration through the end of the year and expanding the stop to several work visas. The visas impacted
apply to tech workers, seasonal workers, and certain education exchange visitors. President Trump has taken this step as a result of the Covid - 19 pandemic and the tens of millions of job losses that have come with it. The president is working to secure American jobs and prioritize the hiring of Americans. Democrats have pushed back against the latest move, arguing that diversity in the workforce is crucial. However, President Trump and Republicans point out that the American workforce is plenty diverse and capable to fill the estimated 600,000 jobs affected by this order. With this EO, President Trump continues to make good on his promise to put American workers first.
