The New York Times | Letitia James Is Among Prominent Black Women Targeted by Trump

John,

Across the country, Donald Trump is targeting Black women in power for doing exactly what we need more leaders to do: lead with fearlessness and truth.

From Letitia James to Fani Willis to Lisa Cook, he’s attacked, mocked, and prosecuted the women who dared to hold him accountable.

This isn’t politics as usual. It’s a pattern.

Trump is trying to intimidate Black women because he knows the truth: when we lead, we hold him accountable.

That’s exactly why Seated Together, Emerge’s leadership program for Black women, is more essential than ever.

Seated Together gives Black women leaders who want to run for higher office the tools, community, and confidence to keep leading, even when they’re targeted. It’s how we make sure they’re not standing alone — but standing together, stronger than ever. We’re proud that every cohort of this program has produced a member of Congress.

But we need to keep building.

Can you chip in $25 right now to help us grow Seated Together and support Black women ready to lead and fight back?
