It’s been a while since we last connected—and a lot has happened in Maryland and beyond. We’ll write soon with some updates and actions to take, but we want to make sure you have all the information you need to take to the streets on Saturday!

This Saturday is the second NO KINGS day – and Maryland is showing up! There are over 50 NO KINGS events across our state, from the Eastern Shore to mountain Maryland. We hope you’ll join us for this peaceful national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration, which is getting worse every day.

Here are some of the biggest actions you can join:

• If at all possible, folks are being asked to go to the big march in DC! Stand up to Trump’s authoritarianism in his own back yard. 12-2pm, Pennsylvania Ave NW & 3rd St SW. Travel from the Baltimore area is being coordinated (though it may be challenging given that the marathon is on Saturday, too):

• Take the MARC train with other activists

• Take a bus from Towson or the Interstate 70 at Security Blvd Park and Ride

• Baltimore area sign waves, rallies, and a dance party

• Anne Arundel, Crofton: NO KINGS 5:30-7pm, Crofton Station,

• Frederick: NO KINGS 4-6pm, Baker Park Bandshell

This administration is targeting immigrant families, profiling, arresting and detaining people without warrants; threatening to overtake elections; gutting health care, environmental protections, and education when families need them most; rigging maps to silence voters; ignoring mass shootings at our schools and in our communities; and driving up the cost of living while handing out massive giveaways to billionaire allies, as families struggle. We must join together to make it loud and clear that we won’t tolerate kings in our country! Hope to see you at an action on Saturday!
