John, they say that “if you don’t learn your history, you’re doomed to repeat it”—but there’s a part of my history I’m proud to relive every day.
I helped start “The Hell Cats,” a group of Democratic women veterans running to flip red seats blue and win back the House together.
But we’re not new to this, John. The original “Hell Cats” were the first women to join the U.S. Marine Corps in World War I. They were trailblazers who served with determination and broke barriers before they even had the right to vote.
I’m proud to keep their history alive, and to be just as relentless as they were every day. I also know they succeeded because they banded together—and I need to recreate that history, too.
If we band together right now, John, we can flip my district blue and defeat my MAGA loyalist opponent. But it has to be together, united—and now.
If elected, I’d be the first female Marine ever to serve in Congress. So I’m asking as a Hell Cat, John: Will you pitch in $25 before midnight to help me flip this toss-up district and make more Hell Cat history?
