President Trump has signed an Executive Order to protect our nation's monuments from rioters and anarchists. The action is in response to mobs tearing down and destroying historical statues across the country. In an attempt to re-write history, the far-left has been tearing down or defacing monuments of a wide range of our historic heroes, such as George Washington, Martin Luther King Jr., and Abraham Lincoln.
President Trump has mandated that those caught vandalizing federal monuments will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and face up to 10 years in prison. The president’s efforts preserve our nation's legacy and put looters on notice that their crimes will not be tolerated.
