Thanks to the determination of the Israeli people, the heroes of the IDF, and the incredible support of the United States, all the living hostages were freed from captivity and returned to Israel.
Yesterday was proof that when America works together with Israel, both nations are stronger, and peace is possible.

Now, to build a lasting peace and a better future for Israelis and Palestinians alike, we must work with our leaders in Washington to ensure America continues to stand with Israel.
The United States and international community must remain vigilant and fully implement this agreement, including Hamas disarming and removing it from power in Gaza.
We must seize this moment to forge a better future for people across the Middle East, including by expanding the Abraham Accords and adding more Arab and Muslim countries to the circle of peace.
This will only happen with unwavering support from the United States and our leaders in Congress. We must ensure that pro-Israel leaders in Congress have the resources needed to win reelection and that anti-Israel candidates who want to undermine everything that has been achieved are defeated this upcoming election cycle.
