There is no model for running a campaign in the middle of a pandemic. One thing is for sure, though: sending mail to voters works. Can you help me raise $10,169.73 by this Friday, so we can mail postcards to voters in District 6? Thank you.

First of all, thank you for your amazing response to yesterday’s email. We raised a lot! At the same time, we have a lot more to go in the next 3 days.

Past elections in Washington tell us that seniors tend to vote as soon as they get their ballots in the mail. Seniors are also much more likely to vote than younger voters, and they’re more likely to actually read their mail (tsk tsk, fellow millennials).

So it’s critical that we get postcards out to voters BEFORE voting starts, so they have time to read our postcards before filling out their ballots.

We need to let voters — especially seniors — know that, unlike my opponent Rep. Kilmer, I will never flip-flop on Social Security.
