2020 Point-In-Time (PIT) Data Now Available

The PIT Count is a snapshot of everyone who was experiencing homelessness on January 28, 2020 and only representative of individuals on that one night. Over the next year, ACEH's goal is to enhance data collection and reporting to provide a comprehensive view of those experiencing homelessness in Anchorage on a monthly basis.

Next week the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness (ACEH) Advisory Council will release the ACEH 2020 - 2021 Gap Analysis and Community Priorities: Recommendations for Programmatic, Policy, and Funding Decisions and will present the findings at our upcoming Membership Meeting.

ACEH Membership Meeting

The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness (ACEH) will hold a Membership Meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 4:30PM - 6:00PM AKDT. Please be sure to register in advance for this meeting at: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0rd-yorjoiGNARsUwmM25_d1N2Dsi1ql27. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. This meeting is open to all current and prospective ACEH Members.

The Membership Meeting will include the following:

An Introduction to ACEH’s new governance structure
Confirmation/Vote on Advisory Council members (ACEH members in good standing* can vote)
Overview of the Anchorage Gap Analysis & 2021 Community Priorities
Public Comment

Public Comment:

The last 30 minutes of the meeting will be reserved for membership and public comment (time is limited to 3 minutes).

ACEH members in good standing* will have speaking priority.

*To be in good standing membership dues must be postmarked in the mail by July 17, 2020 or paid online by July 22, 2020. Members in good standing can vote and receive speaking priority during public comment at the ACEH July Membership Meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2020.

Who is the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness?

ACEH is the convening body for the Anchorage Homeless Response System (often referred to as the Continuum of Care).

How do I become an ACEH member?

Individuals and organizations interested in participating in ACEH are encouraged to fill out an ACEH Membership Application. This application offers membership and voting opportunities to guide ACEH and the Anchorage Homeless Response System in its work to make homelessness in our community rare, brief and one-time.

Send completed forms to [email protected] with any questions you may have about membership.

Membership scholarships are available for an agency or individual who lacks the financial resources as determined by the Advisory Council. Membership fees are waived for individuals experiencing homelessness or those with lived experience.

What if I am an existing ACEH member?

Membership renewal notices from Member Planet were sent out by email on June 19th to current members. If you didn’t receive your renewal email, please check your spam folder or email [email protected].

Membership dues must be postmarked in the mail by July 17, 2020 or paid online by July 22, 2020 to vote and receive speaking priority during public comment at the ACEH July Membership Meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
