You may not know this about me: When I first ran for Congress in 2018, my district hadn't elected a Democrat in 50 years.

A lot of people tried to discourage me. They said it was a pipedream.

Well, they were wrong.

Growing up, my parents used to tell me to never do anything half-hearted, and that advice has stuck with me all these years: from my time as a federal law enforcement officer taking on narcotics traffickers; a CIA officer working undercover to keep Americans safe; and a U.S. Representative for Virginia's 7th District creating bills signed into law by presidents of both parties.

Now, I'm running for Governor in the biggest election of 2025 — and I'm giving this everything I've got.

I've seen the momentum on the ground, I've heard the enthusiasm of people all across the country who see our race as a beacon of hope.
