When I was appointed Democratic Whip for the state house, one of the first people to send me a note was the U.S. House’s Chief Deputy Whip, Congressman Dan Kildee. He offered me this advice: Get to know your colleagues and earn their trust -- it’s the best way to know where they will stand on issues we vote on.
His advice has held true, and I’m glad to call him a friend. We’re lucky to have him in that role and fighting for working people in this country.
Today, I’m excited to share that he’s supporting our campaign and will be joining us at our next event!
On Monday, July 20th at 6:00PM, we’ll be hosting a very special Virtual Re-Election Fundraiser -- and we’ll be joined by Special Guest Congressman Dan Kildee.
This is going to be a great opportunity for our team to share updates from the campaign, as well as hear from Congressman Kildee about the work Democrats are doing to win up and down the ballot this year.
We’re coming up on an important fundraising deadline, and purchasing your ticket to our event will help us meet our big goal for the quarter.
