Following National Guard deployments to D.C. and Los Angeles – President Trump is set to send even more National Guard troops to go to Oregon next.

This isn’t about keeping people safe, friend. If Trump cared about that, he wouldn’t have cut hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for public safety. He wouldn’t be ordering ICE agents into the streets to tear families apart. He wouldn’t be using the National Guard in the same way that led to the tragic shootings of unarmed protesters at Kent State.

This is all about control, intimidation, and fear – and it comes straight out of an authoritarian’s playbook.
