Here’s an update from our campaign:

This week, I joined members of the Italian American Society in Kenosha to celebrate Columbus Day.

I enjoyed discussing the ways I am working to support Wisconsin families including securing our border, lowering costs, and working to reopen the federal government.

The Shutdown Continues

Thirteen days into the federal shutdown, Senate Democrats remain unwilling to vote to reopen the federal government.

Despite the House passing a clean continuing resolution to prevent a lapse in federal funding, Democrats in the Senate

are demanding $1.5 trillion in new spending in order to reopen the federal government. As a result, members of federal law enforcement, including US Capitol Police were not paid on Friday for the work they completed during the Schumer Shutdown.
