Jaime Harrison is no ordinary Senate candidate, John.

He was born the son of a single teenage mom and raised by his grandparents. Jaime grew up in poverty, but in a tight-knit community that helped each other.

He promised his family he would go to law school to one day give back and help those who helped him. After receiving a scholarship to Yale University and graduating from Georgetown Law, Jaime went on to make history by becoming the first African American chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party.

Now, a recent poll shows Jaime is TIED with Senator Lindsey Graham in the South Carolina Senate race, 42 - 42%.

And just this morning, Jaime’s campaign announced that grassroots supporters helped him raise $13.9 million in the second quarter of 2020 -- a South Carolina fundraising record.

Jaime is counting on grassroots support to win this race and send Lindsey Graham packing. Will you split a contribution between Jaime’s campaign and DFA now to help elect this progressive champion to the Senate?

DFA members have helped Jaime build this campaign from the ground up and we’re mobilizing a coalition of people across South Carolina ready for change.

Jaime has outraised Lindsey Graham at every turn. But South Carolina is an up hill battle and you can be sure that Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump aren’t going to let one of their closest allies in the Senate go down without a fight.

That’s why as this race heats up over the summer, Jaime is counting on grassroots support more than ever to send Lindsey Graham packing.

Pitch in now to help Jaime build a winning grassroots campaign and flip this Senate seat blue:

We have an enormous opportunity to elect another powerful, thoughtful, and experienced Black leader to the U.S. Senate, send one of Donald Trump’s closest allies home for good, and flip this South Carolina seat blue.

Change is coming to the South, thanks to the hard work and support of DFA members nationwide. Thank you for everything you do to support this critical work.
