Hello Fellow Climate Activists,

350 Chicago is joining the Hands Off Chicago coalition and national No Kings partners and others across the country as part of the national No Kings day of action and mass mobilization on October 18th.

350 Chicago is joining the coalition because without our democracy, significant and meaningful climate and environmental justice is impossible as the Trump regime degrades our democracy and dismantles climate and environmental laws and policies on a daily basis. It is time to resist and fight back against his tyrannical power grab.

350 Chicago will be partnering with our friends at Third Act Chicago, Sierra Club and potentially other climate and environmental groups to Adopt a Block during the march.

There are volunteer opportunities listed in this Google Form. Please fill out the form to volunteer for the Adopt a Block portion of the event. We will be constructing Burma Shave style signage with a definitive action for marchers to take with the final sign(via QR code).

We are seeking to have an art build at the end of this week to construct the signage. You can sign up for the art build on the Google Form. Please sign up to help with this important action. Plus, it will be fun!

This will be a nonviolent, broad-based action bringing all of us together from many different causes, communities and issue areas, as the attacks from Trump are impacting us all. We hope you can join us in mobilizing to protect our democracy and the climate.
