Trump and his allies are trying to turn America into Russia. His top advisers joked that they’re ruling Congress with an “iron fist”, and Steve Bannon compared Congress to Russian Duma—a ceremonial Congress that rubber stamps Putin.

This is how fascism takes hold. They’re trying to shred the Constitution, consolidate power, and run our democracy like Putin runs his dictatorship.

We need to fight back like our future depends on it, because it does.

But Congress isn’t fighting back. They’re letting Trump become a dictator and our government become a meaningless rubber stamp for his agenda. MAGA is trying to end democracy in broad daylight and too many Democrats are acting like this is normal.

The people that got us into this mess aren’t going to save us. We need a new generation of leaders that are strong enough to take on Trump’s iron fist. And we can’t wait—it needs to happen now.
