Dear Friend,

On Saturday, I wrapped up my Fight for Colorado Tour in Denver, where I shared the overview of our Blueprint for Colorado’s Future . The tour took me across the state—from Pueblo to Durango, Greeley to Grand Junction, Alamosa to Fort Collins, and so many communities in between. Along the way, I had many meaningful conversations about the leadership we need to address critical issues like housing; food security; protecting our land, air, and water; public safety; and much more.

In Colorado, we have the opportunity to work together to ensure our state remains a place where we all can and want to stay, and where our kids can build a future for themselves and their families. To do this, we must focus on these key priorities and more:

* Trump-Proof Colorado: fight illegal acts to militarize Colorado, stop federal sales of our public lands, enforce laws preventing sales of government facilities for ICE detention centers, and stand up to Trump's lawless acts to punish Colorado for our voting laws;
* Boost homes Coloradans can afford, including increasing attainable owner-occupied homes by 40,000, closing the current gap of needed homes by 50%, and reducing costs for renters, including by banning price collusion through algorithms by corporate landlords to protect renters;
* Take on social media giants and scale up a Colorado mentorship program for our kids, who are spending 6 hours online, with access to guns and drugs, and need stronger connections and to build greater resilience; and
* Champion a Colorado Earn-and-Learn Promise to expand paths into good-paying jobs, including apprenticeships and other work-based learning opportunities.

The Colorado Blueprint is a call to action for your engagement, your ideas, and your input. Our democracy is a team sport, and we need all of us on the field. I hope you’ll read it [[link removed]?] and share your suggestions.

Our Fight for Colorado Tour started in Pueblo, as my past campaigns have, focusing on what we need to do to ensure our kids have opportunities to build a life in Colorado—including being safe, affording a home, and enjoying Colorado’s precious land, air, and water.

[link removed] [[link removed]]Then, we set the stage for the work ahead by looking for guidance and mentorship from two extraordinary leaders—former Governor Roy Romer and former Mayor Federico Pena—both of whom have endorsed our campaign. This historic fireside chat was a powerful moment. You can read my blog post [[link removed]] from the event here, and watch the video [[link removed]] of the event here.

[link removed] [[link removed]]In Alamosa, we released our plan for ColoradoCorps [[link removed]] , a service program for young people (ages 18-26) to serve our state in key professions, building hope for their future and ours.

In Grand Junction, we released our plan for protecting Colorado’s water [[link removed]] , which is a resource critical to ensuring vibrant futures for all our communities.

In Dillon, we released our plan to keep our communities safe [[link removed]] , highlighting the important work ahead.

This tour exemplifies the spirit I bring to governing—showing up, listening, and delivering for Coloradans. And in the coming days and weeks, we’ll share more details about our plans and continue inviting your input and feedback.

Together, we have important work ahead to shape the Colorado we want and deserve for the future. Thank you for being part of this movement. I couldn’t do it without you.
