‘Tell The Truth’ is XR’s first demand. The crises we face must be communicated accurately for people to take meaningful action.

But the world’s media system; social media, corporate media and state media, has been hijacked by a handful of wealthy, malignant media owners with toxic agendas.

XR has a long history^[1-8] of targeting the media and now we are working with the new group Media Revolution^[9] to disrupt the corrupt, billionaire-owned media with a coordinated response.

Misinformation, disinformation and sensationalism are running riot. Science is ignored, activists are monstered as eco-terrorists, and anti-net zero campaigning is at full throttle - fuelling inaction and backpeddling from climate commitments.
