"That's not discrimination."
My opponent Winsome Earle-Sears repeated those words three times during our debate.
That was her response when I stated plainly that she opposes marriage equality and that she supports being able to fire someone for being gay.
"That's not discrimination."
It is blatant discrimination, and so let me be clear: I've always defended the rights of all Virginians, and I always will.
But this race is coming down to the wire, and we cannot afford to take anything for granted with so many of our fundamental freedoms at stake. So, if you're in a position to give, I hope I can earn a contribution from you today.
