With just three weeks to go until Election Day, I have to level with you: Our campaign’s fundraising has slowed down…significantly. 

The chart below represents our daily individual contributions in October, down from a high on September 30th: 

We need to turn things around — and fast. So I’ve set a goal, in consultation with my team, to raise $20,000 by midnight on Wednesday, October 15th. 

This is our final mid-month fundraising goal of the campaign. Can I count on your support to help meet the goal, turn the tide, and raise the resources we need to win this race?

This is serious. If we fall short, it won’t just be a number on a screen. 

It means fewer volunteers knocking on doors, fewer voters hearing our message, and less energy in a campaign that’s fighting back against an opponent with massive resources. 

We can’t let that be the reason Virginia is forced to endure four more years of Republican governance — especially with Donald Trump in the White House wreaking havoc on our federal workforce, our economy, and our very democracy.
