The situation on the ground in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court 2025 has gone thermonuclear and is now the hottest election of 2025. 

If you are thinking wtf why is an obscure judicial race getting so much attention—we get it. This race matters because if MAGA seizes this court they all but guarantee Trump will take Pennsylvania and its critical 19 electoral college votes in 2028 when he seeks a third term.

Here’s the rundown of where things presently stand: 

First: In early September MAGA launches a bolt from the blue surprise attack rapidly spending millions in this quiet and often overlooked judicial race and quickly seizes the lead. 

Then: Dem PA Governor Shapiro, Defend our Courts, DNC & DLCC, launch a desperate counter-offensive in Late September to pull Democrats back from the brink of defeat. 

Now: Things have stabilized and we have somewhat contained MAGA’s breakthrough but voters are still confused, the majority remain undecided.

The ballots that voters will vote on in this race don’t have party affiliation to simplify it for voters. They simply say vote yes or no to retain these justices and leave it up to voters to figure out which is the GOP and Democratic position.  

MAGA is taking advantage of this and is spending millions on deceptive ads and mailers to try to convince Democratic and Independent voters to vote no and remove their Supreme Court Justices.
