American women now make up almost half the workforce -- but still only earn 81 cents to every 1 dollar men earn on average. It is ridiculous that in 2019, women are still being paid less than men for equal work.

Team, we can do better than this. Now is the time for Congress to guarantee equal pay for equal work - regardless of gender. Sign the petition: Demand Congress guarantees equal pay for equal work!

I am in awe of the advocacy of the US Women's National Soccer Team on this issue -- to say nothing of their back-to-back World Cup Championships! Yet again, they outperformed the men's team -- and yet again, they've been severely underpaid.

Folks, the truth is -- on the soccer field and in every field -- women should be receiving equal pay for equal work. It's as simple as that, really!
