Connecting Industry & Education Forums

Superintendent Megan Degenfelder held Connecting Industry & Education Forums to hear from the business communities in Rock Springs and Sheridan. The events are the first in a series of forums to be held this fall around Wyoming, where Degenfelder will hear from the local business community about their needs. While in Rock Springs, she also visited the classroom of Weston Lamb-Costantino


CTE Celebrated in Fremont County

Central Wyoming College and the WDE hosted a joint media event in Riverton to celebrate the trades and highlight their essential role in Wyoming’s economy and communities.

Superintendent Megan Degenfelder joined U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, and State Education Chiefs from Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Iowa, and Arkansas to envision the future of education in the United States.



Boots on the Ground at Kelly Walsh High School

Superintendent Megan Degenfelder spoke to students in Liz Masterson's journalism class at Kelly Walsh High School in Casper to celebrate Constitution Day. She also joined Kelly Walsh High School Principal Mike Britt to thank Julie Mackey of the Jae Foundation for providing seniors with a pair of Jae Boots and a message of mental health awareness.

Education Joins the Blockchain Conversation

Superintendent Megan Degenfelder spoke on the Education and Digital Assets panel during the Wyoming Blockchain Stampede, which explored how educators can integrate digital asset literacy into curricula.


Providing Support for All District Staff 

Superintendent Megan Degenfelder recently spoke at the Wyoming Pupil Transportation Association Meeting, which provides training, updates, and support to district transportation supervisors across Wyoming.
