Hi John,

I know it’s Monday, and you’re probably hitting the ground running with the week. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

Over the past few days, so many of you have shared your thoughts through our policy survey, and I’m truly grateful for your feedback — and for the chance to hear directly from our residents.

If you haven’t had a chance yet, there’s still time. I’d love for your voice to help shape this campaign’s priorities.

TAKE SURVEY

Every response matters. And please feel free to forward this to friends and family who might want to take part too. My goal is to make this campaign a home for everyone — Democrats, Independents, and Republicans alike — all working for the betterment of the community we share.

Enjoy the rest of your day,

Richard

P.S: Sending this over as Leonardo and I make our way around the neighborhood, walking our friend’s dog we’ve been helping take care of. Happy Monday, everyone!

Begin Forwarded Message:

John,

Over the past few months, I’ve been listening — at our packed town hall, at our business roundtable, in churches, and while knocking on doors — to what our neighbors in Miami are really going through.

Now, as I get ready to release a detailed plan for what this campaign will fight for, I want to make sure it reflects your priorities too.

Right now, we’re seeing what happens when leadership fails to listen. Just look at the health care crisis unfolding during this government shutdown:

  • 231,000 people in FL-27 rely on Affordable Care Act tax credits.
  • Premiums could increase by 88% — and for some older Floridians, by as much as 276%.
  • Over 93,000 people could lose their health care altogether.

That’s unconscionable. And it’s exactly why we’re building this campaign differently, in a way Congresswoman Salazar never has: by listening to you.

So before we finalize our policy agenda, I want to hear from you. What issues matter most to you and your family right now?

TAKE SURVEY

It only takes a minute, but it will help shape the roadmap for this campaign from now until Election Day. It’s time to make life more affordable again, fix what’s broken, and move past Salazar’s failed leadership.

Thanks for being part of this moment.

Let’s get after it.
