Bolts: Inside the Clunky Elections to Control Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court [[link removed]]
John: We'll keep this short.
Supporters of voting rights currently hold a 5-2 majority of Pennsylvania's state Supreme Court. That majority has been crucial in protecting voters' rights for the last few years , making sure valid ballots were counted and striking down attempts to make it harder for voters to participate in our elections.
Three of those justices are up for renewal in 2025, however, and off year elections like the one just a few weeks away always have depressed turnout and participation. That puts that pro-democracy majority at risk, especially with opponents of voting rights throughout Pennsylvania pulling out all the stops to try and take out these judges, which would force the court into an immediate 2-2 tie.
There is one final, crucial piece of this puzzle: Polls show most voters don't pay a ton of attention to judicial elections or know what is at stake. “ People have no idea, ” said one political volunteer recently at the annual Ephrata, PA street fair. “ Even informed voters—they just don’t know .”
That's where we come in -- trying to inform Pennsylvania voters of what is at stake and asking our supporters to reach out to any friends and family who are Pennsylvania voters to make sure they go out and vote in this critical election.
This all takes resources from grassroots supporters like you. Will you chip in $15 or whatever you can today to help us reach every voter we can ahead of their next election? >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
Your support is crucial to our efforts. Will you donate today to help us protect voting rights? [[link removed]]
