Friend,
Last week our campaign held our second town hall on community activism. I spoke with youth organizer Ariana Federico and community organizer Ariel Gibbs to discuss turning advocacy into action, and how to organize for change.
Ariana and Ariel talked about how to become more active in community organizing, how organizing can still be successful during COVID-19, and how they plan to continue organizing for justice and reform in San Diego.
We're holding these town halls because it's important that our community has the tools it needs to organize during this pivotal moment in our country's history. Now more than ever, we need to come together, listen to one another, and organize for long-lasting change here in San Diego and across the country.
If you missed the event, I hope you'll check out the recording -- and respond to this email if you have any feedback or ideas for future town halls! [link removed]
Thanks for your support,
Sara
