Dear Friend, |
We want to highlight the efforts of one of our partners in southeastern Montana, the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. For decades, the Tribe has successfully fought to keep coal development off the reservation. But the nearby Colstrip coal plant has polluted the air, water, and soil in the region. |
Now, as the Trump administration and its allies in Congress continue to prop up this fading industry, the Tribe is not only fighting back — they are showing how clean energy progress can still be made. |
This is a story about resistance and hope in the face of deep pocketed interests and an anti-environment administration. |
|
|
Sincerely,
The Team at Earthjustice |
