We’re sorry to reach out so early on a Monday, but we’re in a bit of a pickle right now. Here’s the situation:

Even after they intentionally shut down the government, National Republicans haven’t stopped their big-money fundraising efforts. Instead, the shutdown has given them even more time to host all those shady, closed-door, five-figure-minimum fundraisers with right-wing millionaires.

Here at Pettersen HQ, we’ve been hearing rumor after rumor about what they’re raising to attack Democrats like Brittany next year — and it isn’t good.

We need the resources to fight back against anything Republicans throw our way. We can’t be caught flat-footed when the NRCC releases its numbers. That’s why we need to hit our mid-month fundraising goal. So we have a humble request: Can you chip in $5 or whatever you can before our fundraising deadline?
