The Trump Administration is pushing the Supreme Court to overturn the Affordable Care Act and once again, folks, Washington Republicans are trying to rip away our health care — in the middle of a global pandemic.

Republicans with Trump leading the way are plowing forward with plans to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and leave millions of Americans without access to affordable health care.

I know the importance of good health care systems all too well — especially in rural areas. When I was younger, I lost three fingers on my left hand in a meat grinding accident.

I remember my mom rushing me to a hospital that was 12 miles away and every day I thank my lucky stars we had one even that close.

That’s why I’m fighting as hard as I can to make sure folks across the country have access to life-saving care as the coronavirus continues to spread, especially in rural communities.
