Let’s be real: The last few weeks have been wild and overwhelming for everyone here at Campaign HQ. And yet, the fight is only getting started.

In just a few days, Republicans in the Kansas legislature will travel to the White House to take marching orders directly from Donald Trump — and right after that, things will happen fast:

Kansas GOP leadership will call for a special legislative session. Republican politicians will work as quickly, and quietly, as possible to gerrymander this seat. The public outcry will intensify.

That third part is the key to winning this fight.

Sustained public outcry is the most effective tool we have right now. After all, we all know these extreme politicians aren’t going to do the right thing just because it’s the right thing.

But if we put enough pressure on these extreme politicians — enough for them to truly feel the outrage, the anger, and the momentum on our side — they’ll understand just how many political consequences will come with Donald Trump’s gerrymander.

And that’s exactly why your support, your voice, and your protests make a difference.

To be completely candid, I can’t persuade these extreme politicians to back off Trump’s gerrymander on my own. But when thousands of Kansans — Democrat, Republican, and unaffiliated alike — are willing to stand up and speak out, things change. That’s why I need your help:
