It's hard to believe that it's been just a week since our incredibly successful Give OUT Day! We are simply blown away by the generosity that made this important fundraiser so impactful. Whether you donated, shared our page on social media, or campaigned for us within your friend group, every bit of work, big and small, got us across the finish line.

This is why we’re elated to tell you that we received 300 unique gifts, which helped us raise over $13,000. This allowed us to earn third place on the Southern Large Organizations leader board, qualifying Equality Virginia for a $2,000 grant! 

As we shared with you throughout June leading up to Give OUT Day, the passage of nearly a dozen laws that protect LGBTQ Virginians this year would not have been possible without your passionate support to make Virginia a more equitable place for all LGBTQ individuals and families.

Because of you, we are already preparing for another successful year at the 2021 General Assembly, reimagining ways to offer our TIES conference as a unique digital event, and strategizing next steps to center racial justice in our programs and outreach across Virginia, all while adapting and navigating safely through this pandemic.

We will continue to advocate for the rights of all LGBTQ individuals in Virginia, while uplifting your voice. The uphill battle for equality is far from over, but your support shows that truly anything is possible through the power of community. Thank you for making our Give OUT Day dreams come true!
