Team, I can’t say how long this shutdown will last.

We are at a real impasse: Republicans want to raise the price of health care for millions of Americans and kick millions more off their coverage. Democrats don’t.

That’s why I’ve been voting No on this budget for the last two weeks.

What I can say is that since the start of the month, our campaign’s fundraising has been way down.

That’s a sign to me that some folks are hesitant to contribute when there’s so much uncertainty in our nation and our economy.

And on top of the shutdown, Trump’s tariffs, funding cuts, and billionaire tax giveaways are making prices rise for everyday necessities.

That’s why I’m asking today: Give just $5.

It may not sound like much when you think about the millions of dollars that will be spent against us in this campaign.

But $5 goes a long way when thousands and thousands of people join together and do their part.

We can and must fight the corporate lobbyists and MAGA Super PACs with the power of grassroots donations, $5 at a time.

Please, make a $5 contribution to my campaign as we stand against Republican health care cuts and build our grassroots movement for victory.
