Join us in peaceful protest: Find a "No Kings" event near you.

ACLU Supporter, are you ready? We'll be out in the streets on October 18 – next Saturday – with communities across the country to condemn President Trump's escalating abuses of power. <[link removed]> (This link takes you to a third-party site, mobilize.us. Indivisible will know you came from us, and their privacy policy applies).

This is an all-hands-on-deck moment. The president and his administration have made it clear that if someone disagrees with the government, that person, organization, or industry will be punished.

They've targeted judges by name, detained journalists and protestors, and attacked our civil rights. Enough is enough. They may be trying to crush dissent – but that means we will only get louder.

That's why we're teaming up with partners to lead this upcoming nationwide day of peaceful protest and ensure that the world knows that we, the people, are more powerful than the people in power.

So please join us in peaceful protest on October 18: Find a local event near you and RSVP today. <[link removed]> (This link takes you to a third-party site, mobilize.us. Indivisible will know you came from us, and their privacy policy applies).

ACLU Supporter, the ACLU will continue to push back across the country against attacks from the Trump administration. Protecting our democracy isn't a partisan issue, it's an American imperative – and we could not do any of this work without you.

We hope to catch you next Saturday – and thank you for being with us in the fight no matter what.

In solidarity,

The ACLU Team

P.S. A core principle behind all "No Kings" events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
