Every day, I’m motivated and guided by the Jewish principle of tikkun olam – which means to repair the world and leave it in a better place than how we found it. 

It’s why I ran for office in the first place – becoming the only former synagogue president and just the third Jewish woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate.

And today, it’s why I'm fighting back with everything I have to stop Donald Trump's reckless and dangerous agenda. At every turn, he is harming the American people and leaving our country in a far worse place than when he stepped into the White House.
