I wanted to give you an update on the work I’ve been doing to force accountability in Congress on the Jeffrey Epstein files.

This wasn’t an issue I expected to be in the middle of. But I met with the survivors of the Epstein sex trafficking ring. I thought I would spend 45 minutes with them and go to my next appointment.

Instead, I spent 2 and a half hours with them because it was so important. What they said was specific and credible. It was gut-wrenching and it convinced me that we have to really figure out what happened here.

And what makes it worse is that Donald Trump is deeply wrapped up in this devastating crisis. And Republicans are rushing to cover up any and all connections between Jeffrey Epstein and Trump. 

But despite that, Democrats have made real advances in advocating for transparency – including releasing the vulgar Trump Birthday Note and subpoenaing the Epstein files.

But still, Republicans are pulling out all the stops to protect Trump from accountability. They’re even refusing to swear in a Democratic Congresswoman to delay a vote on the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

That’s why I’m running for Senate, John. We need Democrats to flip control of Congress so we can FINALLY force real accountability for the out-of-control Trump administration.
