[ [link removed] ]Deb Haaland for New Mexico[ [link removed] ]Deb Haaland for New Mexico
It's Jane
Fonda! You may know me as an actor or as a bit of a troublemaker in
Washington for, well, decades. And I'm proud to still be at it.
There’s a lot of noise in politics these days, but when you find someone
like Deb Haaland, you pay attention.
Deb and I have been in the climate fight together for some time now, and I
can say with my whole heart she’s exactly the kind of leader I had in mind
when I launched the Jane Fonda Climate PAC: someone who listens to their
community, stands up to powerful polluters, and never hesitates to put
people over profits.
And in New Mexico, the stakes couldn’t be higher: extreme heat, scarce and
contaminated water, the Rio Grande — the lifeblood of the state — drying
up before our eyes. Deb’s on the frontlines of this fight. That’s why I’m
throwing my hat in to support her, and I need you with me.
[ [link removed] ]You can bet the pundits and corporate polluters will be watching to see
if Deb has the grassroots strength to become the next governor of New
Mexico. I know she does. But she needs each and every one of us. Will you
make a donation today to directly support Deb’s campaign for Governor?

I’ve always admired Deb. She’s a 35th-generation New Mexican who has
traveled to every corner of her state — not out of obligation, but out of
love for the people who call New Mexico home.
As Secretary of the Interior, she fought to protect our public lands and
water. She created the Climate Task Force and launched the American
Climate Corps to prepare young people for good-paying clean energy jobs
and climate careers.
Some of you may even remember that I personally urged President Biden to
nominate her as Interior Secretary because she’s just that good.
As a member of Congress, she fought alongside local governments and Tribal
partners to defend public lands, protect access to water, and preserve our
wildlife.
And as Governor, she’s determined to expand renewable energy and put New
Mexico on the path to zero emissions by 2050.
Deb is a leader of integrity, vision, and true public service. She’s who
we need protecting New Mexico’s lands, waters, and air from Donald Trump,
polluters, and profiteers.
But no one — not me, not even someone as fearless as Deb — can do this
work alone. It will take all of us chipping in what we can, when we can to
elect a true champion for climate and working people as the next Governor
of New Mexico.
[ [link removed] ]I’m asking again
because this race truly matters for the future of our country: Will you
join me in supporting Deb by making your first donation to her
campaign today?
Your donation, along with contributions like it from people all over the
country, is how we will defend this critical seat and chip away at Trump’s
dangerous agenda once and for all.
Thank you for being a part of this movement.
With gratitude,
Jane Fonda
