While the government may have shut down, our determination to advocate for our democracy has not. Here are two actions you can take THIS WEEK to actively resist Trump and his authoritarian agenda.
- Submit a quick public comment to the Election Assistance Commission to advocate against a rule change that would restrict millions of Americans from accessing voting
- Sign up to be part of an event that has the potential to be the largest mass mobilization in American history.

So far, over 200,000 comments have been submitted to the EAC about this dangerous proposal, with too many being in support. We need to counteract this with as many pro-voter comments as possible by the October 20 deadline. It only takes two minutes. Go to this website and use this customizable template to make your voice heard today.

Then, after you submit your comment to the EAC, make plans for your weekend by joining millions of others for No Kings October. On Saturday, October 18 join this peaceful movement of millions of Americans from all walks of life rising up to make it clear: We don’t do dictators or kings in America. We never will.

To get involved, go to the No Kings website to find an event in your area. You’ll also find other helpful resources like virtual safety trainings and messaging toolkits to inform others in your community on social media. We can’t hold Trump accountable if we’re not united. Thank you for supporting us on October 18 and beyond, because this isn’t a moment, it’s a movement!
