Since the news broke on Thursday night that Trump’s DOJ indicted New York Attorney General Tish James, I’ve heard the same question from a lot of people: What can I do to help?

The short answer? Donate to DAGA’s Legal Defense Fund to support Democratic AGs.

Here’s the longer answer:

DAGA recently announced a legal defense fund to help defend Democratic Attorneys General and their staff who are targeted for political retribution by Donald Trump. This fund will help cover the costs of the unprecedented retaliatory legal action taken by the Trump administration against AGs who are holding lawbreakers accountable.

Let me be clear: Donald Trump has officially crossed a line that no president has ever crossed before. These charges against AG James are completely baseless and clearly an act of political revenge, and we need to protect her and any other Democratic AG who Trump targets. That’s where the DAGA Legal Defense Fund comes in.
