Friend,

In recent weeks, the Supreme Court delivered three major victories for the American people: They ruled that federal law prohibits job discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity, blocked Donald Trump’s efforts to end DACA, and delivered a win for reproductive rights in Louisiana. And now, we’ve just learned that the Supreme Court will have the chance to review a lawsuit I filed in 2016 that directly challenges the corrosive and corrupting influence of super PACs in our elections.

Will you sign today and help me end the super PAC takeover of our Democracy? <[link removed]>

In Lieu v. Federal Election Commission, I’m seeking the reversal of a 2010 federal appeals ruling that exempted political action committees from a law that limits individual contributions to $5,000 per person per year. Essentially, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals gave big money donors the green light to spend millions buying our elections, unleashing super PACs on our democracy. As a result, average Americans have had their voices drowned out by corporations and special interests groups that have undermined the integrity of our elections -- and I’m challenging the courts to act.

If you agree that dark money has no place in fair and free elections, will you sign my petition today demanding the court review and reverse this disastrous decision? <[link removed]>

SIGN HERE: END SUPER PAC SPENDING <[link removed]>

Best,

Ted
